Update on WWE's Plans for Their General Managers

Just what is going on with WWE's general managers?

AJ LEE AND BOOKER T
AJ LEE AND BOOKER T
WWE Diva AJ Lee has found her position as Raw GM challenged amid claims from the top heels that she's too crazy and erratic to hold down such a highly important position (that she is on-screen every week behaving crazily and erratically doesn't help matters).
Meanwhile on the blue brand, SmackDown GM Booker T has fared fairly better, but is still caught up in the manipulations and plotting of his despicable assistant Eve. Poor Booker just doesn't know who to trust these days.
But where is it all going?
Well, in this week's (subscribers-only) F4W Newsletter, Bryan Alvarez gives an update on the current storyline, noting that it was originally meant to pave the way for two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair to return to the company, until TNA, Flair's former employer, slammed WWE with a contract interference lawsuit three months ago:
Also dropped this week is the storyline that both AJ and Booker T are incompetent and that Vince McMahon will fire them both and bring in someone to oversee both shows. I know there were people in WWE who wanted the GM of both shows to end up being Ric Flair, so it could be that Flair was the plan and the WWE/TNA lawsuit has made bringing him in impossible, so for the time being it has been dropped.
Interestingly, while the idea that both will be replaced by Flair may have been dropped, the storyline with an unhinged AJ spiralling out of control (is she meant to be a heel or face? Both?) looks to be continuing: on Monday's Raw, the all-powerful WWE Board of Directors even took to assigning the troubled Diva a career coach to help her get back on the straight and narrow (note: it didn't work).
