WWE News: John Cena Taking Time to Rehab Elbow, Not Expected to Appear at Raw

With John Cena still recovering from elbow surgery, he needs time to rest and rehab. Well, it looks like this Monday he will get just that.
According to pwtorch.com,
WWE has removed John Cena from their official Raw TV roster for Monday's Raw taping in Oklahoma City. Cena did a farewell-for-now speech on the last RAW episode, setting up Cena for time-off to rehab his elbow following surgery last week.
What does this mean for Raw and Hell in a Cell?
Well, I don’t think this means we won’t see John Cena at all.
WWE seems to continue to push the idea that John Cena will face CM Punk at Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship. While Cena may not be at Raw in person, he still can make an appearance through an interview via satellite. This interview can be done prior to Raw and aired during the show.
I have said time and time again, as have others, that there is no one else for CM Punk to face at Hell in a Cell other than John Cena.
Some may suggest Mick Foley due to his recent appearance and argument with CM Punk last Monday. However, Mick Foley is no shape to be facing the WWE Champion. He is no shape to be wrestling at all. No one in his or her right mind, including myself, would ever believe Mick Foley would win the WWE Championship at this point. While many of you may see this as a great opportunity for Foley to have one more match, I don’t believe it would make for an entertaining or quality match.
John Cena needs time to rehab his elbow after surgery and this means time away from appearing live. I would not be surprised to see Cena make a pre-recorded speech to the WWE Universe, but don’t expect him to be live at Raw.
What do you think about the news regarding John Cena not appearing at Raw? Who will step up in his absence?
