As WrestleMania nears, people are always speculating the pay-per-view's card.
And with that, fans anticipate the return of the phenom, The Undertaker.
The wait has become an unofficial WrestleMania countdown of sorts.
But now that wait is finally over and wrestling fans can collectively breathe a sign of relief, according to Arda Ocal via Twitter:
Taker made his in-ring debut in a tag team match with Sheamus against current Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett and former Rhodes Scholars' member Damien Sandow. The house show took place in Waco, Texas, which made the odds of an Undertaker appearance slightly higher than normal given that he lives in Texas. Monday Night Raw will take place in Dallas, as well.
Many were worried that The Undertaker would not make an appearance at this year's WrestleMania given his health and age. Not appearing on WWE programming at this point has also squashed hopes.
But nevertheless, he is back for another high-profile match at WWE's biggest event of the year.
Bringing back The Undertaker in a house show is great move to get him physically ready for any upcoming WrestleMania match.
This potentially sets up the highly-rumored match between The Undertaker and CM Punk at WrestleMania XXIX.
Technically speaking, CM Punk's path to WrestleMania is still unclear; having the Undertaker interfere in the ongoing rift between Cena and Punk can easily clear that up however.
If CM Punk keeps touting his WWE Championship streak, which he has been boasting about even after losing to The Rock at this year's Royal Rumble, WWE can easily have both defend their "streaks" at Mania.
