Yes, you read the title correctly.
Ariane Andrew, known by her ring name of Cameron, was arrested this past Friday at 2:23 a.m. in Hillsborough County, Florida, for driving under the influence of alcohol (as reported by TMZ). According to police, she was pulled over after witnesses say her and an unidentified male were seen getting in her car after having martinis.
Cameron, who I really wouldn't call a Diva as much as a glorified valet to Brodus Clay along with Naomi, reportedly listed her employer as Wells Fargo saying she was a sales associate (per WrestlingInc.com). The report claims she refused to blow into a breathalyzer, which, although smart of her to do, clearly shows that she was intoxicated. She was soon after released on a $500 bond.
However, the most interesting note came during her arrest, when she reportedly offered the police officer $10,000 to let her go. From TMZ:
After cops took her into custody, the report says Cameron offered one of the officers $10,000 to "let her go because she would lose her job."
Soon after her arrest, TMZ caught up with a WWE representative to get his reaction to her arrest. This is all he had to say:
Ariane [Cameron] did not alert us to this matter, we are investigating and will take appropriate action.
Somebody better call her momma, because that does not sound good at all. On a serious note, athletes drinking and driving is one of this country's stupidest and most ridiculous things. There is zero excuse to endanger the lives of other people, especially when you make a ungodly amount of money.
It is for that exact reason that I have no sympathy for Cameron if she is released from WWE.
