With WWE’s Night of Champions pay-per-view just under a week
away, the excitement over the show is nowhere near where it should be
for an event of this magnitude. The good news for fans, though, is that all three have the potential to steal the show!
Antonio Cesaro
WWE.com
With the U.S. Title meaning absolutely nothing, the WWE
has done the smart thing by giving it to one of the company’s internet
darlings, Antonio Cesaro. With a dedicated base of fans already behind
him, Cesaro will have the chance to be a star if given the right
opportunity. That means a big match at Night of Champions against someone the fans care about.
The solution is Christian.
Christian will be live on TNA’s Bound for Glory PPV so the WWE doesn’t want to use him on television. That desire to spite TNA will allow Christian to put Cesaro over in an excellent match at Night of Champions without ever appearing on television.

While there is no arguing that the everlasting feud
between World Champion Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio has been boring, the
company hasn’t ever made Del Rio look as strong as they have over the
last month.Night of Champions may be the event where the star fulfills his destiny.
Sheamus has been a solid face for the company, but he hasn’t been as interesting as many fans would have expected from him. If Alberto Del Rio can win the title at NoC in a very heel manner, this could be the chance for him to get over as a legitimate star.
CM Punk

After turning heel by beating on Jerry Lawler, the
process of descending into darkness was completed when Punk left Raw
last week with his old friend Paul Heyman.Heyman is the ultimate heel, but it is the power he can wield on the microphone that could make the duo of Punk and Heyman so dangerous.
Add in the eventual return of Brock Lesnar, and you have the most intriguing storyline of the last five years.
To continue this storyline, Punk must beat John Cena at Night of Champions. No matter how he retains the title—hopefully with the help of Heyman and even Brock Lesnar—the WWE must carry his momentum through the fall.
